Bus transport with bike

In 2026 it will be possible to bring your bicycle on a new bus route operated by Dalslands Buss. Every Tuesday and Thursday during the summer, a bus service with a bicycle trailer will run along parts of the Vänerleden and Unionsleden. It is perfect for those who cycle on any of the national cycle routes nearby.

Departures

The service starts on 17 June 2025 and runs twice a week until 14 August 2025.

Tuesdays: Bäckefors – Karlstad – Moss – Bäckefors (counterclockwise) Thursdays: Bäckefors – Moss – Karlstad – Bäckefors (clockwise)

The bus has space for your luggage and includes a bike trailer where you can easily load your own bicycle.

Book your trip at least 2 days before departure.

Bicycles are included in all tickets

When booking, you specify at which stop you want to board the bus.

Ticket Zone A (yellow): Karlstad – Moss

Ticket Zone B (orange): Bäckefors – Karlstad
