Relaxing atmosphere
At Kerstin's Camping the traditional camping cabins are gathered in a village-like setting with the service building and shared kitchen nearby. The campsite also offers winterized self-catering cottages with their own shower and toilet, which provide good comfort even in pre- and post-season.
At Kerstin’s, you can challenge each other to mini-golf or take nice walks or run on our nicely landscaped jogging track in the forest next door. This is an easy way to experience nature, that is always close at hand here - or take the opportunity to just be and enjoy the tranquility of the relaxing farm environment.
Glamping with nature as your closest neighbor
During peak season, you can camp in extra comfort in a fully equipped glamping tent that accommodates up to 4 people. You'll sleep soundly in hotel-standard beds and wake up refreshed to all the delightful morning sounds of nature. Enjoy your breakfast on the wooden deck with freshly baked bread from the reception. With a bit of luck, the magnificent view of summer meadows and forest might offer sightings of both moose and deer.
Discover the surroundings
Kerstin's campsite is well located for day trips with swimming at one of Lake Vänern's beautiful beaches, fishing in one of Dalsland's many lakes, or shopping at Melleruds Shopping Centre. Also make sure to take the opportunity to visit historical sites such as the Aqueduct in Håverud, or hike through one of West Sweden's largest wilderness areas, Kroppefjäll. For those interested in golf, it is not far to Mellerud's golf club.
Sometimes it can be nice to leave the motorhome/car and go for a bike ride to explore the surroundings. The campsite rents out both adult and youth bikes and helmets and child seats are of course available to borrow. When the evening comes and it's time to unwind after a long day of activities, it can be relaxing to gather around at our barbecue area.
