In Gullspång you have two choices on the trail. If you have a little more in a hurry, we recommend that you take the bike path that runs on the railroad that is paved and goes right to Otterbäcken. If you have a little more time, it is well worth a detour to ride past the church of Amnehead on the other side of the road 26 and out towards Vänern. See the map for details how to bike. This alternate route is partly paved and partly gravel road. The village road winds through cozy countryside and offers beautiful postcard views in addition to Vänern with several coffee tables to take a small break. Along the way there is Åråshult’s camping on which each cabin has its own unique style and is filled with charm and small details. (This alternate distance is about 1.2 miles long). If you’ve taken the alternative route, you’ll arrive at the paved course that you’ll follow to move on to Otterbäcken.
