Come and bake some bread in an old bakers cottage in a beautiful historical environment!
The bakers cottage in Borgvik is a sinter building from the end of the 19th century. It has one room for housing and one for the baking oven. A lady named Hedda Nilsdotter and her daughter Hilda were the last residents of the cottage and made sure that the residents of Borgvik always had fresh bread.
Today, bread is still baked in the baker’s cottage by ladies from the local folklore association. The bread is still made the same way as Hedda and Hilda and the bakers before them made it.
The cottage can also be rented for baking. Contact Eva Lill Hedberg at +46 (0)70-557 42 75 for more information or booking.
