Your refuge in Dalsland
Nordic Refuge is an elegant and comfortable Bed & Breakfast in Dalsland. The B&B offers 4 large rooms( 35 to 60 sqm), all with en suite bathrooms, one room with a balcony over the lake. There’s a large and cosy breakfast and lounge room, a nice garden and a huge terrasse with lake view. The house is furbished with classic Scandinavian furnitures and accessories with the idea to keep things bright, light, clean and comfortable.
Old school became a hostel
Nordic Refuge is located in the small village of Fröskog in the heart of Dalsland, in a newly renovated cultural heritage school building from the 30s. Soberly decorated with contemporary and classic Scandinavian furniture, its atmosphere is made of light, silence and nature.
Hiking, kayaking, fishing or a dip
Lakes, forests and incredibly beautiful landscapes await you in Dalsland. Enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing or a dip in the area's many lakes. In Dalsland there is a plethora of wonderful nature activities to choose from.
With environmental protection in mind, we serve local and organic breakfast and use mostly organic products.
