"Erik is coming Home"

At Svenstorp Art Center, dreams and reality merge in Erik Johansson's breathtaking visual compositions. Many of the works are photographed in the area, making the exhibition a unique journey through both art and landscape. Visitors will experience an exclusive collection of photographs and video art that challenges the way we see the world.

Now, Erik Johansson is returning to his roots and opening Svenstorp Art Center - an art center in the place where he grew up and which inspired many of his works. With his characteristic way of creating surreal worlds through photography, he invites visitors to step into a reality where the impossible becomes possible.

Follow the farm's journey from farm to art center. With photographs, objects and stories, you get to take part in a fascinating transformation where tradition and innovation meet. A historical deep dive that shows how the soul of the place lives on in a new form.

Café

The former Månstorps Magasin is moving its operations to Svenstorp Art Center and is looking forward to sharing its fantastic homemade coffee bread and its lovely atmosphere with visitors.

They place great emphasis on quality and sustainability. The pastries, sandwiches and drinks are prepared with care, often using locally sourced ingredients. Whether visitors prefer a classic cinnamon bun or just a cup of coffee, there is something for everyone.

The café also has its own channel where the day's offerings and news are updated on Instagram.

Can the dog come along?

At Svenstorp Art Center, your dog is welcome to join you on the outdoor terrace, where there is a water bowl. While you visit the art exhibition and visit the café and shop, the dog can kindly wait on the outdoor terrace, where there are hooks to tie the dog on a leash.
