Get to know the place at the Göta Canal and Vänern
Sjötorp attracts many visitors during the summer. Göta channel starts its way through Sweden from Vänern and many start their journey along the channel here. Sjötorp is also a great place to experience the locking up close. Within walking distance there are no less than eight locks. There are bicycle rentals, fish housing, craftsmanship, museum, dining options and some shopping. The passenger boat M/S Bellevue makes tours on the Göta Canal from here.
