In winter, an electric sauna is available at Skymningen beach in Kristinehamn. There are changing rooms and you can go winter swimming in Lake Vänern.
The sauna accommodates approximately 8-12 people.
Booking Information
Reservations can be made online for 150 SEK for two hours (including 30 minutes for heating, 80 minutes for sauna use, and 10 minutes for cleaning). If the sauna is not warm upon arrival, it takes about 15-30 minutes to heat up, depending on the desired temperature. If you want to stay longer, you need to book additional slots.
Availability
The sauna can be booked every day from November 1st 2024 to March 31st 2025 between 7 AM and 10 PM. The changing rooms are open from 6 AM to 11 PM. Note: There are no toilets available during winter.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to book the sauna.
Rules for Renting the Sauna
- The person who makes the booking is responsible for ensuring everything is handled correctly. In case of damage, littering, or lost keys, the person who booked will be liable for the necessary repairs.
- Do not place anything on the sauna stove as there is a risk of fire.
- Adults are responsible for minors in the sauna.
- Food and beverages are not allowed inside the sauna.
- Sit on your towel in the sauna for better hygiene.
- Show respect for other bathers.
The sauna is located at Skymningen beach on Vålösundsvägen 3, and parking is available just before the beach, opposite the entrance to Skymningsvägen 1.
