During winter 1/11-31/3, an electric sauna is available at Skymningen's swimming pool in Kristinehamn. There are changing rooms and the possibility of winter swimming in Vålösundet, Vänern.
The sauna holds around 8-12 people.
Booking takes place online at and costs SEK 150 for two hours, (of which 30 min warm-up, 80 min sauna, 10 min cleaning). If the sauna is not hot on arrival, it takes about 15-30 minutes to get it warm, depending on the temperature you want to reach. If you want a longer time, you have to book more appointments and pay an additional fee.
The sauna can be booked every day 1/11-31/3 between 7am and 10pm. The changing rooms are open between 6am and 11pm. ATTENTION! There is no toilet available during winter.
The age limit of 18 applies to book the sauna.
Applicable rules for renting a sauna:
- The person who has booked is responsible for everything being handled correctly. In case of damage, littering or lost key, the person who booked will be liable for reimbursement for the measures that need to be taken.
- Do not put anything on top of the sauna heater as there is a risk of it starting to catch fire.
- Adults are responsible for minors in the sauna.
- Food and drinks may not be taken into the sauna.
- Sit on your towel in the sauna for increased hygiene.
- Show respect for other bathers before and after your time and those who take a cold bath without a sauna
- Take your belongings with you - we are not responsible for lost belongings
- Throw away all rubbish and make sure it is clean and tidy for the person who booked the sauna next time
- Do not forget to turn off the sauna unit and lighting when you finish your sauna bath
- Lock the front door after use and put the key back in the key cabinet
The sauna is at Skymningens badplats on Vålösundsvägen 3 and parking is available just before the bath opposite the entrance to Skymningsvägen 1.
