Steam locomotives, coaches and a large collection of train items
Locomotives and carriages
There are a number of steam-engine locomotives and a many of carriages arranged in the track area outside the engine shed. A first class coach from 1940 and a dining coach from 1938 is some of the treasures. The Railway Society owns more than 20 coaches, including six from the 1930s and six diesel locomotives.
A big collection
The society's museum area is found in the former storage room of the locomotives stables. The collection includes a variety of railway historical items, primarily from the stretch between Åmåls-Årjäng, but also from BJ and SJ. The museum includes a large number of tickets, signs and schedules. From Åmåls train station, the association received a personal scale, where those who want to buy an old coin in the kiosk can weigh themselves to get a weight ticket.
