Fish and locally produced meat
[Otterbäcken Sjökrog] (https://sjokrogen-otterbacken.se/) The eastern shore of the left and was originally a small sailor. It has been gradually built to become one of the area’s most popular summer restaurants with visitors from near and far. Here you enjoy the summertime of an exquisite à la carte menu with an emphasis on pinfresh fish such as gy and perch, as well as the qualitative lingering rum. The kitchen’s talented chefs offer both flavorful fish dishes as well as the specialty of the tavern – veiling pizza!
In addition to fish, a selection of meat and vegetarian dishes are also served from a local farm shop that offers locally produced fresh and smoked wildlife. Sjökrogen’s part-idisk digs of smoked fish, the chef’s own pipes and various takeaway plates – and a little more!
Otterbäcken’s lake was a dog-friendly restaurant, where our four-legged friends are welcome both inside and out.
Summer's Best Glass
The glass shoe attracts cooling glass from the local ice cream producer Klings Glass. Enjoy good tastes, old classics that new mixed in the area’s fine ingredients.
Remember: There is always room for good ice cream after meals – or if you just want to swing in to enjoy a lovely good ice cream time when you have the way past.
Cycling along Vänerleden
For nature-loving and active visitors, the national bicycle trail (Vänerleden)(https:/www.vanerleden.se/stage/2-Kristinehamn-otterbacken-vanerleden/) is located right next to Otterbäcken’s sea basin. Enjoy mind-blowing bike rides along Vänern - Sweden's largest lake - and combine the adventure with pinfresh fish directly from "the big blue"!
